Regional Hospital Silkeborg

Coloured light creates better working environment and working quality

Improved working environment at the Regional Hospital Silkeborg

Healthcare light at Silkeborg Regional Hospital is implemented in operating rooms, scanner rooms, and offices.

In collaboration with surgeons and physicians the coloured light scenarios are implemented with control from a central touch screen that makes it easy for staff to switch between individual preferences.

In the operating rooms the light helps to optimize visual conditions and create more comfortable conditions for surgeons, doctors, and nurses.

Today the light helps to bring out details on screens and creates comfort in work situations. The light eliminates shadows and highlights structures in screens opposite to traditional white light which typically reflects and dazzles. It thus becomes easier for the staff to identify the essential elements on the display.
