Experience the light in virtual reality

We have recreated an operating room at Aarhus University Hospital, so you can experience light in a virtual universe. At Aarhus University Hospital, we along with the doctors, surgeons, and nurses implemented Full Dynamic Circadian Lighting and Healthcare light in laparoscopy- and operating rooms.

User inputs are again an important part of the adjustment in the final light functions when the implementation of Healthcare lights in 26 operating rooms at the New University Hospital Skejby is carried out in late 2016.

The virtual universe was developed by SBI, Danish Building Research Institute, and was introduced on “The Day of Light 2015”.

At the fair, visitors could experience operating in different lighting scenarios, with different light settings. Including the change in colour temperature, different combinations of the intelligent bedside lamp PULS, integrated light strip, and circulating fixtures in the ceiling.
